WOOHOO... I f#cking did it!! The first edition of The Cookteaser is a total rap! And I LOVED DOING IT! Really, I was so happy to meet my followers and of course to have a big support of my super lovely friends who also came by to enjoy my food! Gotta love'm :D Sorry for the 'eclectic range' of pictures here below, but as I was super busy working in the kitch I totally forgot to make time to make pictures myself. So I asked my guests to send me some pictures they made and this is the result..uhuh.. yes.. interesting right? Beautiful lightning lol ;) Eventually both my shifts were fully booked so I was cutting, cooking, stressing my ass of in the kitch..but hey... it was all for the good.. Really after all the labour I really felt even MORE energetic.. just because I felt truly happy how the event went and getting all the super positive response about my food. :D you all made my day, night and morning!! lol This is what hungry bitches look like...haha.. no talking.. no nothing..just eat like a freakin hamster before it hits his wintersleep :| haha My Fusion 'Thai noodle that ain't noodle' salad was a great success! Vegan Curry with my popular Beef Meatballs.. my friends always tell me my balls are really nice (this..sounds weird..lol) so they suggested that I should make them for this pop-up... and after all the response I got I think it was a good decision to do so. MMMmmmm.. for dessert I made a vegan, sugarless chocolate mouse with coconutcrisps... super super delish and super healthy at the same time... like..no way...uh ..WAYYYYY I'm busy working on new projects so stay tuned as more pop-up events will come in the near future.
Have a great day! xoxo The Cookteaser

I love this little fishy called Herring. I know the picture doesn't make it look like it's super tasty but trust me on this one honey, IT F#CKING IS!! I think they have the best Haring at the Utrechtsestraat/Prinsengracht, other than that, I think the staff there is always very nice and friendly and I just love to walk around in that neighbourhood! What I usually do in weekends is walk there starting with a delicious black coffee or dirty chai at the 'Koffie Salon' or 'Two for Joy' at the end of the Utrechtsestraat. Then walk slowly towards the herring-stall and enjoy it while looking over the canals of Amsterdam....OH I just really love Amsterdam..it's sooo beautiful, really this city surprises me every time again.. it's absolutely stunning in every way! Ok I got a little bit distracted.. I was talking about the Herring right?! Well scroll down as the herring is not only tasty but it's also super healthy for tha sexy body lol.. Why you should start eating Herring more often:
Herring is one of the very best food sources of vitamin D. Our bodies make this vitamin in sunlight, but in our climate, it's easy not to get enough. There seems to be more to vitamin D than strong teeth and bones. It's now thought that vitamin D deficiency might be a factor in many diseases, such as multiple sclerosis and diabetes. Herring is loaded with EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These fatty acids help prevent heart disease and keep the brain functioning properly. They also seem to be effective in reducing inflammatory conditions, such as Crohn's disease and arthritis. Well then.. a new lesson learned have we not?! lol oke have a good day bitches! Try to enjoy the view from where ever you may be... xoxo The Cookteaser I know it's been a while I've posted a recipe but honestly.. I haven't done a lot of cooking lately..well of course I did do some cooking but nothing something worth mentioning on my blog.. so sorry about that.. I came up with this recipe as I wanted to make something nice with 'Brussel sprouts' as it's the season now.. but I was craving for some smoked salmon too...Hmm.. So I thought..why not combine those two lovely ingredients?!?! Oh I'm so happy I tried this...cause it's soooo delish.. It's really worth while trying! I know I will be busy working tomorrow so I think it's better to prepare my lunch beforehand and bring it to work instead. I mean, seriously.. sandwiches are like SO last season.. Ingredients for 4 people (lunch) - 500 gram of brusselsprouts - 350 gram of finely chopped smoked salmon - 2 red bells (Dutch transl. rode paprika) chopped finely - 2 small cans of precooked lentils - 7 spoons of greek yoghurt - juice of 1 lemon - a bunch of fresh dill - some salt & pepper to taste - a little pinch of cumin powder - a little pinch of garlic powder What's next?! Cook the Brussel sprouts ready in boiling water in aprox. 6 min (with the lid on). When they're done put them in icewater or cool them of rinsing them of using cold tap water, if you're not sure if the brussel sprouts are cooked right, try one first before cooling them. Actually it's really easy, just mix all the ingredients together and you're done! this salad ain't no rocket science! ;) Well I hope you like this recipe too... If you don't like fish or salmon you can easily replace the salmon for smoked chicken, I think that's really lovely too! Oke have a great evening for now. xoxo The Cookteaser I just love it when a product looks stunning, when it's functional and when the TASTE is DELISH all at the same time! A while ago I fell in love with these little fellas, the 'Cassis Cardamom' is my absolute favourite! The Cardamom gives your chocolate milk just that extra hint of ..hmm..what shall I say.. deliciousness... HAHa is that even an actual word? oh who cares anyway...you know what I mean right!? As I don't like to drink regular milk I warm up some Almond milk instead and add a hotchocspoon into my big mug and stir it well untill the chocoloate is all absolved. MMmmmm... so tasty! With this delish drink I feel like I can handle the freezing cold weather much better! Warm cosy clothes, a big blanket and a big mug with chocolate milk... gotta love it! Besides these Hotchocspoons the 'Chocolate Company' has so much more to offer...You can order them even online click HERE or go to the shop in Amsterdam like I did and let yourslef indulge into the world of good chocolate!
