As my dish from Wednesday involved a lot of cinnamon I thought I really should highlight this amazing spice! Most of you will probably think of an apple pie or another sweet dessert when thinking of cinnamon, but cinnamon goes really well in warm dishes and with other ingredients like meat, veggies and even tofu too! Besides it's great in taste cinnamon has a lot more to offer for your health! Chinese medicine and Ayurveda have long revered cinnamon as a superpower and they used to treat things such as colds, indigestion and cramps and also believed cinnamon improves your energy, vitality and circulation.
