First of all.. so sorry that I didn't post anything the last few days.. but I was super busy.. and so tired every day when I finished work...But hey.. I'm back on track again..!! Last week Thursday I had a wonderful dinner at 'A La Ferme', a restaurant I wouldn't have found if it wasn't for my colleague A. who came up with the idea to have a nice 'get-to-gether' at this restaurant. Because we were with so many (30 people) 'A La Ferme' made us a fixed menu. Click on the pictures below to see what we enjoyed! I skipped the Duck-mousse, but I did eat the small amuse of Endive-soup, I thought it was really nice except just a bit to bitter for me. The starter was to DIE for.. as you guys know I'm a big sashimi lover they served us a great cod-tartare with a very nice dressing.. I tasted a bit of dill and some lemon.. MMMmmm. No need to over seasoning it.. when you have good quality fish the natures speaks for itself..Loved it! The main was Ducks breast served with a small portion in the middle of mashed potatoes with mashed carrots. The Duck was super super tender and very juicy.. I couldnt finish my plate..I'm just not a big meat-eater so it was to much for me.. AND I had to make room left for dessert right?! The dessert was 'oke'. I did finish my plate because I was really craving for sweets! Overall I would really recommend this place to have a nice dinner. Especially for those who love to eat a perfectly prepared piece of meat or a nice grilled fish, this hidden treasure is a good one to keep in mind! Go check out their menu HERE.
