WOOHOO Summer is finally here and I freakin L O V E it! I made this super delish Elderflower Citrus Salad yesterday for my colleagues and they loved it so much I of course had to share it with you guys! Like most of my recipes this one is super super easy to make and you’ll be done within 15 minutes!! Yes.. I know.. thank me later ;D So yeah, honey, what the f#ck are you waiting for? Scroll down to check out my recipe for this crazy delish summer citrus salad. Ingredients for 1 plate as a sidedish : - 1 Orange - 1 Grapefruit - ½ Cucumber (in thin slices, I used my cheese-slicer) - Some Mint leaves - Some Pomegranate For the Easy Peasy Dressing: - 1 spoon of elderflower syrup (you can buy this in any organic store) - 2 spoons of fresh lemon juice So what’s next? Use a ‘sharp-as-hell-knife’ lol and slice away the skin of the orange and grapefruit and then slice them into beautiful slices from around 0,5 cm thick. Slice your cucumber in thin slices, I used my cheese-slicer for this, super handy and it fix the job perfectly in just seconds.. I LIKE! Get a nice plate and spread the fruits and cucumber nicely. Now get a separate small bowl and mix the elderflower-syrup with the lemon juice. Drizzle it over the fruits and cucumber slices (use a small spoon) and top it all of with some fresh mint leaves and pomegranate. This dish ain’t just super super refreshing and delish but I mean.. look at it.. Don’t you just LOVE the colours?! Colourblocking in fashion is SO last season, colourblocking with food is the next big thing.. trust me ;D lmao This dish goes along with pretty much everything really, we enjoyed this yesterday over a lavish bbq fest (I’m still feeling stuffed..haha).
