Can you keep a secret? Well I've got this great tip for you, as I was looking for nice glass jars and stockpots for all my seeds, spices, nuts and dried fruits. I couldn't find nice ones in the stores. So, I decided to continue my search Online! One link led to another and somehow I ended up looking for vintage stockpots on this website called 'Marktplaats'. I just LOVE the glass jars with a vintage stamp! I think these are much more original and stunning looking! I picked these up for just 1,- euro each (I bought 10 jars)! I really can't believe it, I mean they are absolutely gorgeous! The guy who sold me his jars appeared to be a very enthusiastic foody, he even showed me his home-made Elderflower wine when I told him that I'm a foodblogger! Yeah I know..I couldn't believe what I was hearing.. and guess what?! He gave me a bottle of his Elderflower wine!! So nice right?! (of course I will post about it when I've drank it). He told me that he drank it a lot and it would sure put a big smile on my face..HAHA lol.. this guy was hilarious really! As we were talking about food, home-made wine and glass stockpots he showed me something else, he turned around to open the fridge and presented me a bowl full of fresh organic berries he picked out of his garden..like WTF..I just couldn't believe I was in downtown Amsterdam...MMmm.. yumm! So if you're into finding unique glass jars to stock your spices in for a nice price, have a look at 'marktplaats' and maybe you'll meet another inspiring foody too!
