I'm a real Chillie-Junkie, seriously.. I really am addicted! It's true what they say that if you start eating spicy food you want to eat more and more by the time. I think I started to eat chillies when I was 6 or 7 years old.. yeah I know...quite young. But for me it was very normal... eating chillies makes me feel HOT! I mean literally whenever I have an 'off' day that I feel fat and ugly I jst eat an chillie and I feel HOT again...no KIDDING (duh) ! No back to reality.. uh Who would have thought that Paprika is also an chillie. Or the beautiful yellow ones.. Madame Jeanette...those are most commonly used in the Surinam cuisine, and SUPER spicy! I will never forget that because 10 years ago or so I was having dinner at a friends place, and we had something like a stuffed paprika with beans, they asked me if I would like to have some spicy sauce to go with it...so I of course said; YES! I LOVEEEEE SPICY FOOD! so they served me this mashes yellow chilliesauce.. they then said, be careful with that.. this one is REALLY spicy..Full with confidence I said: 'oh yeah.. but I eat spicy food like all the time I'm sure I can handle it' so I picked up a teaspoon and scooped out the yellow mash (which was actually 100% pureed madame jeanette peppers) took a bite with that and some stuffed paprika..and then..well I think you should have seen my facial expression..1 word.. HORROR! so.. learned my lesson.. There are a lot of different chillies out there. some are spicy.. and some are BLOODY %$^$&#$#% spicy.. like..WTF ;)
