See here as promised my fun experience at first 'Restaurant without a Kitchen'. I have to say.. my compliments to whomever made up this concept for Bavaria and Thuisbezorgd to collaborate! It's just genius.. cause in the first place when I got the invite.. I was so triggered..I've really never been THIS curious for going out for dinner because I just didn't know what to expect. I couldn't stop thinking.. I even thought about a 'raw' food restaurant opening?! But I was all wrong! They build up a whole new restaurant made from glass in 4 days time, placed it on the top of an empty ground at the 'Kop van Java', add live music, cool dj's and a FA-BU-LOUS view over Amsterdam.. well damn you got me already...I mean..from this point on, even if they would have served me a sticky old peanutbutter sandwhich I would give this place an A+ already ! The menu was a mix of different take away restaurants..sushi from 'Sushi Kings', Thai curries from 'Thailicous, Salads from 'Fresh Food' and of course the necessary burgers, spareribs and pizza too, they had it all! K. and I ordered sushi from 'Sushi Kings' to start with, we shared the... edamame, seaweed salad and some nigiri's and maki's. Whenever the delivery boys arrived on the scooters all the lights went on and brightened up the place.. like a show! Very amusing and fun to watch! We had the Red Curry with chicken and squid for the main course from 'Thailicious' , The waitresses and waiters were all super nice and very helpful, we even got a nice organic frozen yoghurt for dessert! Normally when I'm out for dinner I can be quite picky on food.. but the thing with this place was that it wasn't really about the food, No. This night was more about being entertained.. The experience to be introduced with something new yet still a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Bavaria & Thuisbezorgd for this amazing night out! I enjoyed every bit of it.. I really think it's a shame this beautiful place is going down the 17th already! Be quick if you want to enjoy this great, fun & new experience I had too and book your table by emailing to reserveren@restaurantzonderkeuken.com . Only 2 days left ! xoxo The Cookteaser.
