I was invited to enjoy a lovely lunch served by the one and only Herman den Blijker (a well known Dutch masterchef), but it wasn't just to enjoy the delish food, they gathered a small group of 10 to listen to the stories behind the charity fund 'Orange Babies'. I think most of you have heard about Orange Babies, or maybe you've seen the beautiful campaign with the pregnant ladies with painted bellies, but what do they exactly do?! Well stop wondering and scroll down to read all about it. The Orange Babies foundation was established to help pregnant women with HIV and their babies in Africa. Orange Babies also supports children who are infected with the virus or who are otherwise directly affected. Orange Babies helps by offering information programs and medical care and by building orphanages, maternity clinics and shelters for these women and children. A great way to raise money for Orange Babies is to participate with the concept 'Dinner of Hope', you can sign up for the Dinner of Hope through their website, and host your own dinner party. Instead that your guests bring you flowers or wine you ask them to make a nice donation for Orange Babies! A great way to give something back while enjoying great food. I F#CKING LOVE THIS! As I'm hosting dinnerparties like all the time I thought I'll organise one BIG dinner party for all my lovedones to enjoy my fabulous cooking skills ;) and make my 'Dinner of Hope' a very successful one. I will post more about my dinner of hope soon!
