One thing's for sure.. and that's you don't have to miss out a thing if you're vegan!
They feel and look like old prawn-crackers.. but I was told to soak them in cold water first and after a while they'll end up getting the taste and texture like real beef slices. The lady behind the counter told me to just stir fry them like you would normally do..HMm.. I'm really curious and can't wait to try it out! I'll ask my friend Y. to come over for dinner on Tuesday (she's vegan) and make Beef Rendang with this 'fake-meat'! So it's true.. Asians don't only copy designer handbags, computers and phones...but they can add food to their list too! :| what a strange world we live in..
