Oke.. here's the thing.. I think everybody knows that awful feeling you can have after eaten a delicious dish with loads of garlic in...But I can really NOT imagine cooking without those lovely garlic balls they add so much flavour!.. but seriously.. the oh so lovely smell when you're cooking with it can just make a Big Big U-turn after consuming it..
I like to chew on some fresh parsley..the 'after-taste' and smell will just disappear..but I can imagine you don't always have some fresh parsley in your designer handbag..so what you can do is to get those anti-garlic-smell-pills at this store called 'De tuinen', or order a nice green tea.. they say that green tea neutralizes bad breath smells..
Besides the negative sides of garlic, there are many reasons to add more garlic to your diet.
Did you know that garlic will protect you from vampires? oh HAHA kidding.. no but did you know that eating garlic will lower your cholesterol and bloodpressure, it even works as an antibacterial remedy for cough throat irritations.
Also garlic is known to have antiviral properties, which helps the body fight against allergies. If you don't like to eat a lot of garlic simply take one tablet of garlic supplement each day and you're good to go!
